monday musings

a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.
here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

Well I don't know about that last line, but I agree with the first part. Lovely image! Hope you have a good week ahead. xo
Well it's Sunday evening here...hehe!!
But I love your Monday Musings...I read through several and they make you stop and think...something many of us are not used to doing, me anyway...gives me something to chew on I tell ya!!
:-D
Thank you wise woman, you are right! One thing I always try to teach my daughter is, you don't have to be brave all the time. Sometimes it is far smarter to be a little scared. She has a warrior heart like my other daughter and sometimes they are too brave for their own good.
Courage sometimes requires a few tears.
xo
Sometimes we need to have the courage not to sacrifice ourselves for others. That can be the kindest thing we can do, and the bravest. To know you could help but to stand back and watch them learn the lesson in a way they will remember.
A powerful statement.
That's a beautiful saying and one that we should apply to ourselves. Hugs xoxo
The saying is soooo true! How are you ms. r ??????? I'm just checking in.....
