a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.

How beautiful. We must always remember all who have fought for our freedoms. That poppy is lovely. I can't grow poppies. What's the secret?

Oh, how sweet and magical that they always bloom for Remembrance Day (we call it Veteran's Day here in the states). My Papa served all over with the Army in WWII, and we always donated to the VFW to get our paper poppies. I must go see if I can find one now that you've reminded me. Thank you.

Like Kai said you are in our future and we are in your past as it's not yet Veteran's Day (as we call it here) until tomorrow. That's amazing that your poppies bloom on that day. We always fly our flag on that day...I don't condone war but I am grateful to those who fight for our very freedoms.
XOXO

My Great Uncle Charles, was in the Australian Infantry, he was killed on the Somme. I found out yesterday that he sailed to Europe from Adelaide in 1915. I don't know how he was in Australia, but I will attempt to find out.
He is on the Australian forces Roll of Honour, his name was Charles Alp.

Beautiful post Robyn. I think it's lovely that your poppies bloom on November 11. And it doesn't surprise me as you have such an affinity with the earth and such a compassionate heart.
Your poppies are in tune with the essence of you.

Well done on the blog award too!

Hugs

Dotee xoxo

Do they really Robyn? That's amazing!

I was at our local ceremony yesterday. My husband is in the Canadian navy now and it was my first time going as a spouse of a serving officer. It's important to remember, it's important not to forget.
