a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. gratitude on Sunday

today as usual, I have many things to be grateful for - but three that I am absolutely thankful for today are - sinutabs, telfast & lip balm. I have the worst case of hayfever - I moved 8 bales of lucerne hay today - mulching alot of my garden in readiness for summer - but it was windy & the gorgeous spring blossoms were swirling around quite prettily and of course, I started to sneeze, the eyes started to water, the nose itched and I cursed. My throat was so itchy, I felt like grabbing a knitting needle and sticking it right down into my throat and giving it a good hard scratch. I tried so hard to stay away from the chemicals and used all kinds of alternative solutions but it got the better of me by mid afternoon so I raced inside and grabbed the pseudoephridine (you should see me on that!), the telfast and my geranium lip balm. I probably won't sleep a wink but yes, I am VERY thankful for those things today !!!

I know how you feel when you want to really scratch the inside of your throat and also with me, deep in my ears. I first got hayfever at 16 and how I suffered over the years, June is the wicked month for me, but not so much anymore. At the age of 54 it hardly bothers me at all now just a series of sneezes and I take nothing for it. I was told that if you get it as a young person, once you become a goddess of middle years it recedes, see if it happens to you. xx

Hope you feel better. I'm allergic to something that seeds in the fall and have started my sneezing, but oh the cool temps feel good. :)
