a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.

Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

ooh it is spring time !

"with every gentle raindrop, every fragrant breeze and fresh bouqet, comes a promise. Inspiration to begin anew, right along with the rest of the world - no catching up and no looking back. Spring after spring, nature suggests that everything is possible and makes it all look easy"
COUNTRY LIVING - APRIL 2002

ahh yes, today is the first day of spring - Wattle Day here in Australia.
I woke to a chilly morning, a heavy dew, a mist in the valley but I can feel the blood warming in my veins, my bones beginning to thaw - a time of the year when I feel the excitement of new times in my garden. Dreaming of what I can plant in my dormant vegetable garden, seeing myself standing at my kitchen window, looking at all the fresh produce and wondering what I can pick for that nights dinner, impromptu lunches on my deck, still chilly but with the promise of warmth tomorrow. creativity at an all time high, whispers of ideas in my head, seeing them come to life as I play.
yes, spring time

and I am not even going to dwell on the hayfever that comes with it, nor the media warning of an expected record high temperature summer, droughts or el nino. I am going to savour the words above - everything is possible

Spring is a lovely time of year here in Australia isn't it? I woke up to a mild temperature of 16 degrees celsius in Melbourne this morning! The birds are chirping, the sun is shining and Spring brings hope and promise.
Big Spring hug to you!
Now....to check out the wattle tree on Lee-ann's blog :)

It's like we live in parallel worlds. It is still Thursday here, still daylight, and late summer. I come to your blog and it's Friday and early spring.

Time. It's all relative. Or, as it's said, there is no time...

Happy wattle day! xox

I will be living in an autumn world of mists, fallen leaves, hot chocolate and snug throws, but I will enjoy my second spring this year by sharing yours.

Love and Hugs xx
