a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.

spring day

just a litttle more of my wanderings from yesterday! I spent most of the day in my garden - mulching, planting a red grapefruit and some zucchini (I was sure to plant only two plants this time - last year I had four and I swear I could have supplied the whole village of Woodford with zucchini) - I love my garden, I truly do. I feel the faeries with me all the time. We also went for a walk to Bill & Avis' place - drank copious amounts of tea and ate too much cake. All the while sitting and just looking at spring ! life is indeed good.
my spinach plants are coming along wonderfully! mm, mm a frittata for lunch? well, that depends on whether or not my girls will do their job! they have been slacking off lately

this is a view towards my sewing room - many perennials are in this garden, along with a lemon tree & many, many forget-me-nots

AND this is view from my back yard - looking south. the fence is there as we have a buddhist monk building a small temple. lovely, lovely man - luckily his home won't take my view away! I cannot wait until he moves in and starts chanting!

There are faeries at the bottom of your garden.

The spinach looks so GOOD!! Yum. I love steamed spinach, dressed with oliveoil/lemon juice/salt/pepper while still warm.

I love spinach, I have a great receipe for spinach, tomato and mustard quiche which Vintage Pretty once posted, it is delicious. You are making me jealous talking about your garden just wakening up for spring, I am just going to begin the process of getting mine ready for bed. xx

Oh, I love spinach and Zucchini. I laughed at your comment about only planting 2 plants this year. Zucchini does grow VERY well doesn't it??

Mmmm....your spinach looks scrumptious!!
