a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.

Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

chocolate swap ~ CLOSED

THIS SWAP IS NOW CLOSED - I WILL BE EMAILING EACH OF YOUR WITH YOUR PARTNERS IN THE NEXT DAY! XO
yes it is still on - of course it is - life without chocolate? could not think of anything worse - and I need it more than ever now! so if you haven't joined up, there is still time!

those who have joined so far:
daisylupin ~ peggy ~ kansas rose ~ connie ~ carole ~ thea ~ lisa*oceandreamer ~ artDOGSlife ~ artTEAlife ~ gina-patrasplace ~ gemma ~ judie ~ nicole ~ maggii ~ lee-ann*peartreecottage ~ naturegirl ~ annieElf ~ rosa ~ naomi ~ me!
*IF YOU HAVE EMAILED ME AND YOUR NAME IS NOT ON THIS LIST` PLEASE EMAIL ME AGAIN*

I have been noticing lots of chocolate posts lately & lots of gals who have been feeling blue (and we all know chocolate fixes that!) so how about a chocolate swap? doesn't have to just be the eating kind (but that is a requirement) it can also be chocolate flavoured soap or lipgloss * a collage with a chocolate theme * chocolate coloured ribbons or braids * chocolate tea or other chocolate themed items. Just a box of chocolate really, as long as there is some eating chocolate in there somewhere.
one week to join * you must be willing to post overseas as it is just way too much work to sort out countries * you will have two weeks after you receive your partner to get the package together and have it sent * just email me if you want to join in * I will need your postal details & blog URL

O0000 YES!!! I will email you my details in a minute Ms Robyn (they haven't changed since the last swap I was in, but I know you've been through a few changes and will probably want to start afresh!) What a great theme for the first (I think?) swap on your new blog! A few weeks ago I sent a parcel of choccies to Amy (The Calico Cat blog), as she had just returned home from a holiday in Oz and had fallen in love with Tim Tams and Violet Crumbles. So I sent her a tin with two packets of Tim Tams (Latte and Classic Dark Chocolate), two Aero Bars and a Violet Crumble Bar. She emailed me last night to say she'd eaten one Aero bar and her hubby had eaten ALL the Latte Tim Tams!!!

As much as I'd like to participate, I'm afraid I must decline due to my efforts to kick the sugar habit. Sigh.

Well, I'll be with you in spirit - am still trying to swear off the sugar before too many inches need to be airbrushed off my waist (a la the CBS magazine cover featuring Katie Couric). :)

You can email me from my blog here on blogger. I know good chocolate from just plain ordinary chocolate, believe you me. I've never done a swap, but never to old to learn and chocolate is as good an excuse as any.
