christmas wonderland
the door which I use to go in and out of my home. It squeaks when I open it - I refuse to put oil on the hinges. The Christmas wreath that has been put on my door for the last 20 years wherever I may have lived. The sun coming through the apple tree - dappling sun that skips and sparkles across the door, like the faeries that I believe in
* Christmas in summer - welcome to my world

Oh it looks so beautiful. The wreath makes me excited that it's Christmas and the dappled sunlight makes me remember, wistfully, the beautiful wonderful summer past.
I think your priest gave you very, very good advice! It makes my heart happy to know that he said that to you. I am slowly (but surely) coming to believe that we really do each have a purpose and that that purpose is to be ourselves in a way that allows that light to shine through us uniquely. Perhaps as parents, our biggest job is to stay out of the way and not change our children too much as we teach them to be responsibile and loving so that they can be used uniquely to shine the light also.
BTW..noone understand teenage girls, I'm quite sure. hehe
I love your door it shows the way to a welcome, warm home I am sure!!
Robyn did you get a parcel yet??? gosh I do hope so. it has been missing (I mean with!!) the post office for a few days now.
hve a nice evening lee-ann
I love your welcoming door Robyn..it is so inviting.
The fact that it squeaks and announces each entrance is kind of magical !
I think it might be fun to spend a Christmas in the sun..
the dappled light on your entrance paints a pretty picture..
xo
I am knocking on your door Robyn, ratatattat 'anyone at home, my rooks had to help pull my broomstick as it was such a long journey, can I come in?'
My door sqeaks too...I like it because it lets me know when family members are coming and going...my kids are pretty much grown...so they are in and out at all hours of the day and night...
I love front door photos.
Yours is particularly welcoming and beautiful!
Put the kettle on, I am coming over for tea...
xo
I love the dabbled sunlight and agree, it's like faery light. I believe too. Your new template looks amazing!
Your door looks just like I would expect it to look....welcoming, warm, and friendly. Just like you.
I love your stained glass. I think I've said that before. I love the shadows too!
What a lovely wreath (and I love this kind of door with a window, whatever they call it!)
Hope you're having a wonderful start to the Christmas season - I'm sure the faeries enjoy it no matter what the weather is!
xoxo
I think that I would enjoy spending Christmas on the beach. It would be alot nicer than freezing like we are here. I don't mind cold if it has snow with it, but we didn't get any, :(
Hugs to you Robyn!
A doorway leading into a warmth filled home:-) It looks so very welcoming dear Robyn!! xoxo
