the last day of 'spring'

a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.
here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

It might as well be Summer here too! 80 degrees again..altho it is supposed to get cooler by the weekend! WE have crazt weather, I am very tired of the heat... ENOUGH already! I was sweating today trying to make Christmas cards...PS..Would you email me your address?
It's warm here too....but I'm sure it will finally turn cold in December. It's still November here. Haha!!
xox
Busy times but oh what fun:-) I can't even imagine having Christmas in the heat, we've always had snow here and to me it wouldn't be Christmas without the cold and snow! Can't wait to see your Christmas decorations...I just know they'll be fabulous!!! xoxox
It's mild here today, for November that is. I'm sure the snow will come..it always does.
You girls are all so industrious, I don't know what I do with my time, but you put me to shame.
I get emotional when I hear some of the old Christmas songs too..it's part of the fun.
xo
I, too, wait until December 1 to begin putting my Christmas stuff out too! We go way into January (Jan. 7 is Ukrainian Christmas), so I don't put the tree up until mid-December. A month with a live tree is long enough! I can't wait. Robyn, I love your artwork on the ATC site! Wow!! xoxo
It's usually warm here in Az. on Christmas too! Seems funny to see Palm trees decorated in holiday lights! :-)
Last night we dropped down to about 15º which is a bit colder than usual but I just keep remembering the horribly hot summer we just went through and that helps! I'm just not in the Christmas mood yet and if I decorate this year it will be very simple....unlike years past!
It is nowhere near as hot here, but it is far milder than usual. I can't wait for it to be a bit more seasonal, lights everywhere and our tree - I just can't wait.
It's 63 here today but by this afternoon, the snow should arrive!!
It's been a phreaky weather pattern.
I hope you get your projects done :)
PEace, Kai.
I can't even imagine Summer now!!! It is so very cold here....the thermometer says 28 degrees....Brrr....have fun doing all your projects...baking etc.
