a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.
here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

I 'met' Gena awhile ago and we have become firm friends. Kindred spirits, so to speak. She has recently opened an online store with all sorts of vintage goodies. matter of fact, I just bought myself a sweet vintage brooch.

I've been a regular "window shopper" here since she opened. I just know she will do so well! Such gorgeous things! So when is your shop opening? hint... hint... can we hope to see one in the near future of your quilts/collages?
Oooooh what wonderful items she's got in her shop...I was looking at the jewellery and just love the rose scarf clip!! I'll be checking out her other items:-)
Carol King was a favorite of mine back in the day. I had the album this picture was on. Sorry to say I don't still have it. Now, off to check out the store.

Aw thank you Robyn and you lovely Ladies for your kind words! I search far and wide for lovely vintage pieces, it is a labour of love for me, I just love things that have been part of somebody elses story, I am also a bit of a magpie, so often things end up at home I like them so much!
