a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. yummy scrummy fabric

ooh look what I bought on our little trip on Saturday - a stash of fabric. Like I need more. But I have been so burnt out since the wedding quilt - that I thought I should buy some new stuff to inspire me. And I think it has worked! the colours are not quite the same in real life - the check is more of a raspberry red and the yellow is a real french yellow - they are quite quirky - but I just bought what I loved, as I do and it usually turns out ok. But sometimes I get odd looks with my choices in fabric colour combinations.
I have been drawing up a quilt that I can make from these. I have a few drawings that ms*S did when she was about 8 and I thought one of those would be great to applique..... so keep a watchin' !

I love the colors you have chosen Robyn!

Look forward to see what you create with them.

I think my favorite is the green, yellow and white one on the bottom left hand side. Stunning!

Oooh, I spy a little Denyse Schmidt Flea Market Fancy in there as well as some Sis Boom print! You absolutely cannot go wrong with this combination. Gorgeous, gorgeous, and very good quality, too!
