a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.

Name:
Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

nothing is 'wrong' - phew!

my heart strings have been pulled & tugged this past week - with what is happening in the world and the funeral, so I played the other day. I took a photo of what I did when I played and thought it looked silly - I mean, if my heart strings are being pulled, then why am I smiling? (it is the only photo I had of myself that was suitable) and I thought the balloon strings look like arms - being my own self critic, I had decided not to post a photo, but encouraged by words from zuzu - who said 'there is no such thing as right or wrong in art' and she assures me I will not be flogged for not being perfect, I changed my mind. So here it is:

What a beautiful collage. If only we could all see life through the eyes of a child... then we could all smile

This is very literally expressive of feelings - it says to me that your hands can work from your heart felt feelings and you can help the world that way - which is what art does.
