a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.

no apologies

inspired by Tara at paris parfait
* watching yet again - the stupid killing of innocent people. children - just like yours and mine - running, laughing, probably sittting drinking their glass of milk, in a family that loves them - just like you & I love our children. then gone. they cease to exist. what is this thing called war, all about? is it about 'winning' ? is it about who has control? well, I couldn't care less what it is about. It has to stop - our leaders have to do something - they need to take a stand for God's sake. Instead of being too scared of what other countries will think of them. surely they feel the same way, deep inside their souls? Oh, I know I could turn the tv off & ignore the radio and pretend it all isn't happening - but I can feel it in my heart. I make no apologies for feeling like this, no apologies at all.
seems it is being voiced other places as well - ENOUGH and here: daisy

Found your site by serendipity...agree profoundly with you. Our leaders seem to be oblivious about those that are dead and dying. Our Prez went on vacation this week.

Thanks for your comment on my blog, Miss R. Maybe one day our fearless leaders will wake up...when one of their grandkids gets killed or something tragic that hits close to home. I like your blog and will be back to explore more. BTW that was me that deleted above. I'm half asleep. :)

My heart is in my mouth everytime I think of it. Sometimes I want to scream.

I cannot believe, cannot believe, cannot believe the powers that be are not lifting a finger.

Dear Miss R, thank you for the nod and for giving voice to the frustration you and millions of others feel about the madness of war - no matter where it is on this planet. If only the government leaders would listen to the diplomats and enact a ceasefire. At least that would be a first step, because without dialogue, there's no hope of resolution. Thanks for your lovely heartfelt posts and for inspiring us daily with your compassion and understanding. xo Tara

Beautifully said and so true Miss Robyn.
I want to also shake my fist about all this needless horror from power hungry madmen. How in the world can this all be stopped? What happened to the voice of the people meaning anything?
p.s. I`m so glad I was able to find your blog again and thank you for linking me over.

Your comments here are all very true the sadness is beyond any real idear of what is happening.

what is wrong with the world why do we let neighbours beat up each other...........I could truly bash a few heads myself over this.

The horror of having children bombed how could they do that! how dare they do that! what are they thinking
