mixed media memoirs

a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.
here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

Hello, and so nice to meet you.
Rosa (http://www.blogger.com/profile/6887092) passed on your blog address to me, as we were discussing swaps (I am trying to connect with a group, and am new to the blogger swapping forums.)
Anyway, you have a beautiful blog. Could you explain what a hedgewitch is? Is that somewhat similar to an apothecary or holistic whitemagics practitioner, which I have interest in.
Thanks so much.

Just Lovely! I guess it is good to think long and hard about what pleasures us in life every now and then - makes us appreciate what we've got.
Just read the post below about your daughter. I put my mum through quite a bit of hell at about 14 and 15 (I got it out of the way early) and I feel terrible for it. I'm sure she hasn't forgiven me for it, hehe. Nah, just kidding - she has. Just remember that she doesn't mean what she says and it's all about stretching into adulthood and wanting independence. Hope it gets better sooner rather than later! :)
I LOVE this and your garden is exactly what I would expect to see. I need to get on this assignment. I did two pieces for the last one and never did get them sent to her.
I just enlarged it and read your beautiful list. I love it even more.
It's a wonderful page!

Ms Robyn, could you email me your addie, I have a some things I'd like to write to you about in letter form please..
teehhee...the plot thickens.
Peace, Kai.
This is stunning! Fun, cute and whimsical, I adore it.
So Halloween is in October for you too? Boy, that is confusing! I would be all messed up to not have it in my fall. It's my favourite day of the year no matter what though, I hope you have a good one!
So dainty and pretty! Your list from your heart and sweet picture of you...in the garden.
:-)Guess I'll try to do a MMM too, one day soon.
