too precious for words

a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.
here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

Oh Robyn you are precious...I love this too for the very reasons you cite. I'm not sure about the lamp with Jesus though, sounds a bit gruesome.
ahhh' beautiful!...
You know what I did?..I was so inspired by your bloggy' home that I decided to take stock of my priorities and to let go of things that hinder me from focusing on what is important...like time spent fixing my home...making it pretty nice for my family...and though I know that our world's are so different..the essence of how you care for things beautiful touches a universal truth...I share that with you...
and your daughter..is truly lovely...
I love the camels and the creativity in putting them all together. It's charming.
xo
What a rich place you got...
Yes, simple and from the heart. What could be better??!! xo
Hello Robyn, what a busy life you lead at the moment so much to do and so little time to do it in. I have enjoyed looking at your nativity scene, it is a lovely set.
Have you unwrapped any more gifts form your stocking yet?
see you soon Lee-ann
Yes that is what it is all about. Love your set up
I always put up a nativiy too...ours must be 25 years old now. My daughter just bought her first creche only to find that St. Joseph is missing from hers....and she was a single mom for so long...maybe symbolic...we will look for a St. Joseph for her on e-bay.
Have you heard that burying a statue of St. Joseph in your front yard helps with the sale of your home? Maybe that is where these Josephs have gone missing!?
This is so sweet Robyn and like the Ugly Duckling, you have made it beautiful and meaningful.
What a place of peace you have created with your finds and your loving heart...This is just beautiful.
I love that little creche!!
