a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.

tonight

I am off to an african dance class
with drumming and bells!
UPDATE - home from african dancing - it was fun but way too co-ordinated for me. I looked like a grasshopper who had too many martinis. I think I will stick to chakra dance which is alot more free spirited

That sounds really exciting, you seem to have some wonderful classes in your area. You should buy a small african drum and drum it is so releasing and earthy. I have a bodhran, which my husband bought me three years ago, and I love banging away on it, especially on a summer night. It really makes you feel good. Releases frustrations and gives you energy. Love Daisy xx

I would love to have a drum. It would be healthy to play it when feeling stressed or even when happy. I wonder if I could make one? Chakra dance sounds intriging!

Robyn, drunken grasshopper, you crack me up!!!

We had a woman in our flamenco class who came from an African class and she kept doing her African thing and it drove me up the wall. She eventually realized it was flamenco and stopped it. And she did look like a grasshopper who's had too many martinis!!!

Ahahaha! xox

Dance is one of the most healing activities I know! Chanting and dancing is like a lovely prayer.
