driving miss robyn: I often wonder <body><script type="text/javascript"> function setAttributeOnload(object, attribute, val) { if(window.addEventListener) { window.addEventListener('load', function(){ object[attribute] = val; }, false); } else { window.attachEvent('onload', function(){ object[attribute] = val; }); } } </script> <div id="navbar-iframe-container"></div> <script type="text/javascript" src="https://apis.google.com/js/platform.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> gapi.load("gapi.iframes:gapi.iframes.style.bubble", function() { if (gapi.iframes && gapi.iframes.getContext) { gapi.iframes.getContext().openChild({ url: 'https://www.blogger.com/navbar.g?targetBlogID\x3d31774133\x26blogName\x3ddriving+miss+robyn\x26publishMode\x3dPUBLISH_MODE_BLOGSPOT\x26navbarType\x3dBLUE\x26layoutType\x3dCLASSIC\x26searchRoot\x3dhttps://missrobynbme.blogspot.com/search\x26blogLocale\x3den_AU\x26v\x3d2\x26homepageUrl\x3dhttp://missrobynbme.blogspot.com/\x26vt\x3d-8746203904051304822', where: document.getElementById("navbar-iframe-container"), id: "navbar-iframe" }); } }); </script>

a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.

Name:
Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia

here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

I often wonder

after trying on & off nearly all day to try and post a damn photo on a post - I got to thinking. Why is blogger FREE ? why is there absolutely no charge? It just doesn't make a lot of sense. Maybe someone more cluey than I, has an answer. Then there is the comment verification thingie - I wonder what the record is of having to type the letters in correctly? I am up to three times at the moment - i's that look like l's & two v's which are actually a w. Then there is the amount of letters - gee sometimes there are more letters in the word verification than in my actual comment. I get rsi from just typing them in! Not being able to post a photo has even got me thinking of finding a new blogging system, that I pay for without so many problems. I don't mind paying at all, as long as it works.
(and of course there will be no photo with this post - sheesh, enough to drive a gal insane)

Blogger is free because it is a tool devised by the New World Order to get people to release information about themselves which they would never divulge if they were asked directly.
Actually I just made that up, but it's still more plausible than it being a giant free lunch.

I hear ya......I have tried the same thing, and wonder how can it work one day and not the next....when I haven't changed a thing on my computer.....but I have to say, blogger is still a better posting sight....tblog when I was on it was always down, and I couldn't figure out one darn thing. Thats when a lot of people moved over to blogspot....I have had the same problem with imageshack which is where I post my slideshow....one time it works wonderfully, and the next it say's interal error.....and I didn't do a thing with my computer......I always think "whose been into my computer"? Kind of scary.....

I have tried them all. typepad,msn,yahoo, tblog and have always came back to blogspot. I turned off the word verification and only get spam once in awhile and its worth not having my friends pull their hair out trying to leave a comment. I still get mad when I can't post photos but nothing in my life is perfect. I can always come back later and edit the post. Liked your idea about a challange to everyone about their day. Will do that on my next post. Have a great week Ms. Robyn and you are welcome to visit me anytime!

My hubby and I were wondering that the other day. How this can be free, when something must always be gained somehow from service in basially anything. Even in a good relationship.....there must be give and take. What are "they" taking?
Hmmmmmmmm....makes ya wonder. I like Jeremy`s answer lol.....a bit scary but very plausable. The web thing is very large and dark shadows lurk in all places. Okay..now that I`ve freaked myself out hehe........

I agree with Peg. Although I have not tried other blog sites, I haven't had enough problems with blogger to justify moving. So far, so good. Now that I've said that.......hehe.
