a journey of self discovery. You just never know what we might see. Is that a fairy ring under that rowan tree? Look! - a hedgewitch, I wonder what she is brewing in her cauldron today. Oh, and look at that poor menopausal soul, she needs our love & understanding. We may take a stop at the creativity school or a wander through the garden. And maybe, we will take the time machine back to the past! But wherever we go, we will always take time to stop for tea.
About Me
- Name: Miss Robyn
- Location: Katoomba, NSW, Australia
here I am in a little cottage that evokes the energies of my ancestral lands - a cottage on the moors of Cornwall, or on the cliff tops of Ireland or Scotland. It has a hearth. I am a hedge witch {of sorts}. I wear upcycled clothes, patchouli oil and Redback boots. I am a gypsy; an eccentric and a mystic [I often live with a foot in two worlds]. I serve my guests, tea from an old silver teapot. I love Vervain, yarrow, chamomile & mint. Star watcher and Moon gazer. story cloth weaver. keeper of family dreams and wishes. good friend and creator of life. herbal tea drinker and potion maker.

Hi Robyn, if you 'google' Halloween you will get tons of N.American sites all featuring ideas for decorations.I'm sure you would be able to adapt a few to fit in with what is available to you there.i.e.Lots of orange and black. We used to make small ghosts from scraps of white cloth, to hang from branches in the garden...if you'd like directions email me. Beltane is a festival which features fire as its focal point, anything with a bonfire, candles in the garden at night could be great.Let your imagination be your spirit guide..hehe!
Good for you! I just sent my SOSF a box of Halloween stuff to London! I hope she has your enthusiasm!! hehe. xoxo
I think we all should celebrate whatever festivals or holidays lift our spirits...um, pun not intended!
I was invited to participate in a collaborative artist's altar at Dio de los Muertos at an art gallery here a few years back. Even though that wasn't something my family nor I had ever done before, it brought me more healing than possibly anything else I had done to honor my mother's passing. Dio de los Muertos (day of the dead) is yet another tradition that's celebrated on Oct. 31st. There are sites that you can google on this also. (I know www.craftychica.com often has a lot of both Dio de los Muertos and Halloween decoration ideas and links on her site)
However you choose to celebrate, enjoy!
sign me up please Robyn for the glitter swap.
